| Description | Hi Jason There is something I want to confirm. FW with the above two patches applied at INTEK and INNOFIA has a problem after updating. When updating from security patch on 2021/1/5 to FW with security patch on 2020/12/5 ( downgrade ) They say there's a problem has occurred. if user do google reset, the issue will be solved. ( INTEK and INNOFIA assume that something has changed in the /data ) But the security patches for FNX FW are as follows: v15.522.59 FW : security patch 2021/1(JAN)/5 v15.522.56 FW : security patch 2020/12(DEC)/5 We did the same test ( update from version 59 to version 56. ) , but we don't have any issues. I don't understand this situation Have you already done any work related to this issue on FNX? Can you explain about this status? Thank you YK.Jung | ||||

Hi Mr. Jung We had same issue on other platform few years ago. We just update the string of security patch level, and do the downgrade test, we see the some strange symptom. we haven't ask this question to Google, because base on my past experience, Google will said that "Don't do the downgrade process. If you have any issue on current version, fix it based on current version" Therefore, we always suggest our customer "Don't do the downgrade process if the security patch level is changed" I think the downgrade process may cause the current data status to be inconsistent with the expected. (That is why factory reset can fix this issue.) |
